things are moving

including us. we're moving out of our beloved house. we are choosing another path than buying our big old 1920s six bedroom brick bungalow.

in our search for where to land next i sent out a correspondence with a local west asheville co-housing community, querying about available space for rent. it felt good to write and aaron agrees that it feels good to read. here it is:

between the 3 adults in our family we have about 20 years of community living experience. among us we have lived at dancing rabbit ecovillage, ganas community on staten island, the last remaining of the hippie communes in san francisco, with the then finders in virginia (now open circle community), at birdsfoot in upstate new york, and at the sequatchie valley institute at moonshadow. we have also founded or contributed to various other community upstarts and experiments, some of which continue on today.

our family is committed to our own personal and collective spiritual growth and expansion, our happiness, as well as an outward community service that stems from our spiritual well-being. we continue to have interest living and growing in a vibrant community setting. after moving to asheville a year ago, our lease is up in the amazing west asheville home we've been exploring community in (yet again!) we are currently in a flux phase in our lives and would love to have the opportunity to contribute to westwood and also experience what your co-housing community is about, potentially to be able to choose to stay for a long term.

we invite your well-wishes
BIG LOVE
