the agenda

there's always an agenda, isn't there?
there's always something we're working on or moving towards
or an outcome we're expecting or hoping for
there's always a strategic focus
there's always a paradigm under which we're functioning

so what is it?

often we're answering the question of how fill our days starting with "well, we'll need to provide for our food" and "we'll need a place to sleep" and "we'll need to be 'productive' today"
we consider the projected future needs of our physical manifestations
and maintaining the status quo

but, zooming out for a minute, and considering our lives on a grander scheme
on a longer timeline
as part of a whole
what considerations do we want to have when answering the question of how we fill our days?

what about "i aspire to be happy" or "my focus is to maintain and nourish connections to god" or "my work is to be inspired and inspire others around us" or "how will we contribute to global spiritual evolution today"?

how would we live if those were the FIRST priority?
