three hundred sixty six days

yesterday was asher's first birthday! hurray, hurrah. we took a nice little picnic, ash, beej, aaron, and the kape. it was lovely, we made friends with some geese, made enemies with some ants, splashed in the lake, fed the fishies, tossed the floppy frisbee, and all in all had a darn swell time.

then we went out to a thai restaurant for a couple special birthday treats. it was tasty and delicious. plus, the thai family(and friends) who run the place are SO cute with asher. they just love him to pieces. he's made friends with them before and they remembered him and gooed and laughed together.

and today, on the first day of his second sun, we climbed around, explored the creek by the red cabin and generally frolicked and played. it was fun.
